The race name was very apt as a small handful of Sedgefield Harriers took to the rather frozen York countryside.
In almost perfect race conditions the runners took off into the crisp Yorkshire air and enjoyed a full to capacity race, and fantastic support on the villages throughout the route.
First harrier home was young whippet James Oldfield in a time of 1h 15, closely followed by Ian Blakemore in 1hr 22. Steve Foreman and Andrew Featherstone followed in the 1h 35 and 1hr 37 respectively.
Emma Featherstone led the ladies home in 1hr 51 followed by Nicky Blackett in 2h 00.
As usual a fantastic event and finishing memento courtesy of Knavesmire Harriers.
