Three Harriers ventured to the picturesque East Yorkshire countryside around Pocklington to take part in the Snake Lane 10 miler. The course was an undulating round course snaking through the roads around Pocklington. On what was a windy day in Yorkshire, runners were exposed to brutal gusts of wind between miles 6 and 7 as the course passed through an exposed section.
First Harrier home was Paul ‘The Whippet’ Weir, clocking a time of 60 mins. 2nd home was Andrew Featherstone recording a 3 minute PB at 1h14, and 3rd Harrier home was Emma Featherstone in 1h28.
As always a hand-fired mug was the memento, and the race was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
